Terms of Sale
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This is a courtesy translation. The French version of this document is the only legally binding one and prevails in case of discrepancy. Conditions Générales de Vente (version française).
Article 1 — Purpose and scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms”, in French CGV) govern the sales of products made by LION INDUSTRIE (SAS (Société par actions simplifiée)), operating the High District brand, on the website high-district.com. Placing any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
Article 2 — Products
The products offered are derived from industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.), with a THC content below 0.3%, and comply with the regulations in force. They are non-medical products, without any therapeutic claim whatsoever.
The catalogue comprises two ranges. The CBD range is based on cannabidiol, extracted directly from the plant. The CBDX range is based on a semi-synthetic cannabinoid: derived from hemp, it is transformed in a laboratory and its perceived effect is more pronounced. Its sale is subject to compliance with the same two conditions, verified batch by batch: a THC content below 0.3% in the finished product and the absence of any molecule classified as a narcotic. As the regulatory framework applicable to semi-synthetic cannabinoids is liable to change, the seller may withdraw the range from sale at any time.
- Sale restricted to adults (aged 18 and over); proof of age may be requested.
- Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women; do not drive after consumption.
- Photographs and descriptions are provided for information purposes only and are not binding on the seller in the event of slight variation.
Article 3 — Prices
Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC). LION INDUSTRIE reserves the right to change its prices at any time; products are invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time the order is confirmed. Any delivery charges are specified before confirmation.
Article 4 — Orders
An order is confirmed once these Terms have been accepted and payment has been confirmed. A confirmation e-mail summarising the order is sent to the buyer. LION INDUSTRIE reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute, of suspicion that the buyer is a minor, or for any legitimate reason.
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is made online using the methods offered on the website (bank card, bank transfer and other methods indicated). Transactions are secure. The order is only processed once payment has actually been received.
Article 6 — Delivery
Products are delivered to the address provided by the buyer, within the time frames communicated when the order is placed. Shipping is in plain, discreet packaging. Risk passes to the buyer upon handover of the parcel. In the event of a delay, the buyer is informed.
Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the buyer has a period of 14 days from receipt in which to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason. The request may be made by e-mail to contact@lion-industrie.com.
Exceptions: the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for products that have been unsealed and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection, nor for products liable to deteriorate rapidly (Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
Article 8 — Returns and refunds
In the event of a valid withdrawal, products must be returned in their original condition and packaging. The refund is made within 14 days of receipt of the returned products or of proof of dispatch. Return costs are borne by the buyer, except in the case of a defective product or an error by the seller.
Article 9 — Statutory guarantees
The buyer benefits from the statutory guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and from the guarantee against latent defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, Code civil).
Article 10 — Liability and use
Products must be stored in a dry place, away from light and out of the reach of children. LION INDUSTRIE cannot be held liable for any use that does not comply with the recommendations or with the regulations.
Article 11 — Personal data
Data collected in connection with the order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Article 12 — Complaints and mediation
Any complaint may be sent to contact@lion-industrie.com. In accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, after first contacting our customer service in writing without success, a buyer who is a consumer may refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator to which LION INDUSTRIE is subject: CNPM MÉDIATION CONSOMMATION, Centre d'Affaires Stéphanois — Immeuble L'Horizon, Esplanade de France, 3 rue J. Constant Milleret, 42000 Saint-Étienne. Online referral: www.medconsodev.eu. Mediation must be initiated within a maximum of one year from the written complaint. European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 13 — Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
