Two ranges, one choice
CBD or CBDX?
Two molecules, two worlds. CBD is normal mode: the benchmark, gentle and well known. CBDX is cheat mode — and it's not stronger CBD, it's something else: a different molecule, and the gap is no subtle nuance. Here's how to choose.

CBD
Normal mode
Perceived intensity
Cannabidiol occurs naturally in hemp: it's extracted from the flower or the resin without altering its structure. It's the most studied and most regulated molecule on the market, the one everyone starts with.

Cheat mode
Perceived intensity
CBDX starts from the same hemp, but the molecule is transformed in a laboratory: it's what's known as a semi-synthetic cannabinoid. It isn't a more concentrated CBD, and it isn't a question of dosage: it's a different molecule, and the gap with CBD is no subtle nuance. You approach it differently, and you start small.

Perceived intensity
CBD —Gentle — 2 out of 5 on our house scale. The benchmark, the one everyone knows.
CBDX —Maximum — 5 out of 5. Nothing like CBD: it isn't the same cannabinoid, and there's no comparing the two. A scale of how it feels, not a dosage.
Who it's for

CBDX —Seasoned CBD users looking for something more intense.

CBDX —Every batch tested by an independent laboratory.
⚠️ Read this before choosing CBDX
- Adults only. Like all our products.
- Don't drive or operate machinery after using it. Roadside saliva tests in France screen for THC: even a compliant product can, in some cases, lead to a positive result.
- Start small. A small amount first, then wait and see before having any more. This cheat doesn't switch off at the push of a button: start small.
- Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, for people on medical treatment, or combined with alcohol. If in doubt, talk to a healthcare professional.
- A more recent status than CBD. The rules on semi-synthetic cannabinoids may change; if they do, we take the range off sale.
High District makes no health claims: our products are neither medicines nor food supplements, and they don't replace any treatment.
The questions we get asked
Is CBDX legal in France?+
Yes, on two conditions that we check batch by batch: the finished product contains less than 0.3% THC and no molecule classified as a controlled substance. Its status is more recent than CBD's and may change: if the regulations change, we take the range off sale.
What's the real difference from CBD?+
CBD is extracted directly from the hemp plant. CBDX also starts from hemp, but the molecule is transformed in a laboratory: the intensity you feel is more pronounced. It isn't a "more concentrated" CBD — it's a different cannabinoid.
Which one should I start with?+
CBD. If it's your first time, start with the CBD range, the gentlest and best known. CBDX is for people who already know how they react and want something more intense — and even then, start small.
Can I drive after using CBDX?+
No. CBDX affects alertness: don't drive or operate machinery after using it. Also, roadside saliva tests in France screen for THC; even a compliant product can, in some cases, lead to a positive result.
Is there anyone who shouldn't use it?+
Sales are restricted to adults. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, for people on medical treatment, or combined with alcohol. If in doubt, talk to a healthcare professional.
Do both ranges come in the same strains?+
Yes, as far as possible: each strain comes in a CBD version and a CBDX version, each with its own batches and its own lab reports. On every product page, you switch from one range to the other in a single click.
